A semipermanent procedure using a manual tool to deposit ink in a hairlike pattern
There are many different terms under the ‘permanent makeup’ family (ie, digital, feathered, pixel, nano, etc.) But they are all terms used to describe the same general service of using a machine to deposit pigment
Microblading uses a manual tool to deposit ink in a hairlike pattern while machine does the same but with a digital device. Different needle variations are used with both in conjunction to get a customized look
This is a semi permanent procedure that will eventually lighten with time. With proper aftercare this is meant to ‘age with you’. Since trends and personal taste changes over time, this is the most natural approach to permanent makeup
You will enter the studio, wash your hands and put on required personal protective equipment. From there we will take before and after pictures and start our consultation. Once I know what you're looking for I will start to map and draw shape. CLIENT MUST APPROVE SHAPE BEFORE PROCEDURE. Once approved we will begin. This actual tattooing typically takes 1-1.5 hours. While your brows are soaking in pigment I will answer any questions you may have, review custom post care, and get you rebooked for your touch up. After completion we will checkout and I will see you in 6 weeks!
18+ in the state of Oregon. YOU MUST HAVE ID
There is street parking available. I recommend downloading Parking Kitty before your service appointment
All questions and concerns may be addressed via email or at time of appointment
Not mandatory or expected but greatly appreciated!
Please refer to Brow styles to help guide you. I will also give my professional recommendation if you are unsure!
Temporary darkness and a more vibrant color with possible swelling. Please refer to detailed aftercare
The better you take care of your brows, the sooner you will heal and return to your normal routine (about 2 weeks)
Debit/Credit (3% fee), Venmo, and cash
This is generally a 2 step process, but personal taste and initial canvas will determine the final result. At the touch up, I will analyze any areas of concern and make necessary adjustments
After your initial microblading appointment, appointments will be scheduled no sooner than 6 weeks. After that session is complete, if more work is necessary..I will typically require the skin to heal completely for 3 months before making any adjustments
Several factors change potential outcomes. Most stay true to color and lighten naturally over time. A good SPF is suggested after any PMU service has healed, but will soften the tattoo faster. Oil makes the tattoo soften into a more 'powdered' look. To keep the tattoo fresh, it is recommended to do an annual appt every 12-18 months. The more 'negative space' left in between hairstrokes, the better the skin can retain color and heal properly. This technique of ‘building the brow’ in multiple stages is the best for sensitive or compromised skin. This also typically results in the most natural look overall
MANY ways! Upon booking I request:
-Brow preference form. I’ve created this to help you and I communicate EXACTLY what you want
-Reference pics. What are your dream brows? What do you like. What do you HATE? This helps me determine exactly what will be best for you AND your lifestyle.
-Most importantly...your unique features and movements. I look at many things beyond the brow including..facial structure, illusions, shadows and highlights just to name a few
No! Microblading uses a row of needles to pixelate a ‘hair like’ stroke into the skin. Because this is superficial, we aren’t doing damage to the hair bulb
Minimal! Numbing cream is applied at multiple stages to ensure a relatively painless procedure
